Umrah can be performed year-round. Ramadan carries the greatest spiritual reward but also the largest crowds. We recommend October–February for comfortable weather (20–28°C) and more manageable numbers at the holy sites.

Is the Umrah visa included in the price?

Yes — the Saudi Arabia Umrah eVisa is fully handled by our certified team and included in every package price at no extra charge. We manage the entire application and submission on your behalf.

What does '4 sharing' mean, and can I travel as a couple?

Our base prices are calculated for four pilgrims sharing a room. We also offer double (2 sharing) and single occupancy at adjusted rates shown in our package selector. Couples, solo travellers, and family groups are all welcomed.

What documents do I need for Umrah?

A valid passport with at least 6 months validity from your travel date, a recent passport-size photograph, and proof of meningitis ACWY vaccination (a mandatory Saudi requirement). Our team sends a full pre-departure checklist after booking.

Which airports do you depart from?

We offer departures from London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Dublin, and Cork. Please specify your preferred departure city when submitting your enquiry — our team will confirm the best available flight.

Can I extend my stay beyond 7 nights?

Absolutely. Additional nights in Makkah, Madinah, or both can be arranged at competitive rates. Simply mention your preferred duration in the special requests field and our Umrah specialist will include extension options in your quote.

Where is the Miqat, and what should I know about Ihram?

For travellers flying from the UK and Ireland into Jeddah, the Miqat boundary (Yalamlam) is typically observed at the airport before boarding. Our pre-departure briefing explains exactly what to wear, what to avoid, and how to make your intention before departure.

Is Umrah accessible for elderly pilgrims or those with mobility needs?

Yes. Wheelchairs are freely available at both Grand Mosques. We select hotels with minimal walking distance to the Haram and can arrange ground-floor rooms on request. Please mention any accessibility requirements when enquiring.

Day 1

Arrival & First Glimpse of the Kaaba

Arrive in a state of Ihram if possible. The coach passes through the Miqat boundary at the airport where you may don Ihram before boarding.

Day 2

Performing Umrah — Tawaf, Sa'i & Tahallul

·Pre-Fajr: Ihram intention at your hotel room or the mosque boundary
·Fajr prayer in congregation at Masjid al-Haram
·Tawaf: seven counter-clockwise circuits around the Kaaba
·Two rak'ahs of prayer at Maqam Ibrahim; drink Zamzam water
·Sa'i: seven circuits between the hills of Safa and Marwa
·Tahallul: head shaving (men) or hair trimming to complete Umrah
·Celebratory meal with your group — Umrah is complete, alhamdulillah

Perform Tawaf from 11pm–3am when crowds are at their lowest. The upper floors are air-conditioned and often quieter. Bring a small bottle for Zamzam.

Makkah

Day 3

Historical Makkah Ziyarah Tour

·Morning: Guided tour of Jabal al-Nour — climb to Cave Hira (revelation site)
·Visit Jabal Thawr where the Prophet and Abu Bakr sheltered during the Hijra
·Masjid al-Jinn, Masjid al-Bilal (site of the first Adhan), and Jannat al-Mualla cemetery
·Tour of the historical sites of Mina and the plains of Arafah
·Afternoon free for personal Nawafil (voluntary prayers) at the Haram
·Evening: Isha prayer in congregation followed by Taraweeh if in Ramadan

The climb to Cave Hira takes 30–45 minutes each way. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Start before 8am to avoid peak heat.

Makkah

Day 4

Ibadah & Farewell Tawaf

·Full day of personal worship — perform as many Tawafs as you wish
·Visit the Clock Tower Museum (Abraj Al-Bait) for Islamic art and exhibits
·Browse the Grand Mosque Library's rare Quranic manuscripts
·Shopping for religious items, prayer beads, Zamzam containers, and gifts
·Evening: Tawaf al-Wada' (Farewell Tawaf) before departing for Madinah
·Collect Zamzam water in sealed containers — approved for air travel

The Farewell Tawaf should be your last act before leaving Makkah. Pack your Zamzam containers the night before to avoid rushing.

Madinah

Day 5

Journey to the City of the Prophet ﷺ

·Morning transfer by high-speed Haramain Railway (~2 hrs) or private coach
·Check-in to your Madinah hotel near Masjid Nabawi
·First visit to the Prophet's Mosque — enter with right foot and salaam
·Pray in al-Raudhah al-Sharifa (the sacred garden between grave and pulpit)
·Visit the Prophet's grave and send abundant salawat
·Evening: Qiyam al-Layl prayer and quiet reflection

Women have designated times for visiting al-Raudhah — usually Fajr to 9am and after Asr. Check the mosque schedule on arrival.

Madinah

Day 6

Guided Madinah Ziyarah Tour

·Masjid Quba — the first mosque in Islam; two rak'ahs equal reward of Umrah
·Masjid al-Qiblatayn — where the qibla changed from Jerusalem to Makkah
·Masjid al-Ghamama — site of the Prophet's outdoor Eid prayers
·Mount Uhud — battlefield and resting place of Sayyiduna Hamza and the Shuhada
·Madinah Dates Market — premium Ajwa and Medjool dates to bring home
